David Schlumpf has been with Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd. for over 20 years. Since 2017, he has been responsible for the company’s global learning and leadership development department, known as the Julius Baer Academy. Previously, David held various managerial positions within Julius Baer, including roles in investment research, strategy, and product development, as well as relationship management. Prior to joining Julius Baer, he gained experience working for a Swiss fintech startup and an international financial institution. David holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Basel and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of St. Gallen. He is a member of the Chief Learning Officer Community of the World Economic Forum, serves as Chairman of the Education Commission (BIKO) of the Swiss Bankers Association, and actively participates in various initiatives within the Zurich Bankers Association.
