Claus has a strong experience in Technology and Finance spanning over the last 25 years. Before he joined Raiffeisen Banking Group (RBG) he worked for a large international management consultancy within the Financial Service Industry in Europe. At Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI), a member of the RBG, he had different roles and responsibilities within IT, Finance and Operations before he developed the topic of Smart Automation. With his team he has established a portfolio of smart automation capabilities, a Centre of Excellence for Robotics and a Centre for Enablement for Digital Process Automation.
Claus received a Master in Business Informatics from the Technical University of Vienna and an MBA in Finance & Controlling from the WU Executive University in Vienna and Glasgow.
