Laurent Gaye is the Chief Technology and Operations Officer and a member of the Executive Committee at Pictet Asset Management. Since joining Pictet in 2013, Laurent has held several pivotal roles that have shaped the Group’s technology and operational strategy.

He began his journey at Pictet within Group Internal Audit, where he spent eight years specialising in Technology and Cyber Security, including four years as Head of Group Internal Audit. His leadership in this domain laid the foundation for a transition to Pictet Group Technology, where he acted as deputy to the Group CTO. In this capacity, Laurent led the Tech Strategy and Innovation function, oversaw Tech & Ops finance, and managed technology architecture and cybersecurity risk management teams.

Prior to his tenure at Pictet, Laurent was Head of Technology Advisory and Audit for western Switzerland at EY in Geneva, where he advised clients on IT governance, risk, and compliance.

Laurent holds a software engineering degree from the Institut d’Ingénierie Informatique in Limoges, France, and an Executive MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.
