Karin Taheny is an experienced transformation leader, Chief Digital & Technology Officer, and independent board member with a global career spanning technology, strategy, and change leadership. After holding leadership roles at Google in Dublin and San Francisco, she now drives digital transformation at Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE), the Swiss government’s official trade and investment promotion agency.

At S-GE, she has architected and led a multi-year transformation across digital platforms, data and insights, innovation, and operational excellence — all while fostering a human-centric culture that makes change sustainable. Her leadership helped position S-GE among the world’s top trade promotion organizations, including a recent win at the WTPO Awards 2024 for Best Use of Technology and top marks in the ITC’s global benchmarking.
