Jürg started his career as a lawyer at the Swiss Bank Corporation (1993-1995) and as a lawyer and member of the Executive Committee at a law firm (1995-1999). He worked in various roles before he became first Head of Marketing Communications and then Head of Marketing at Swisscom Mobile (1999-2007). In 2008, he joined the Swisscom Group as Head of Pricing and Portfolio Design. Afterwards, he was appointed Head of Marketing Swisscom and member of the Executive Board for Swisscom (Switzerland) Ltd (2013-2016). In 2016, he became Head of Business Transformation at Swisscom. In 2020, he joined Galenica as Head of Transformation and Organizational Development and a member of the extended Executive Committee. Since 2024, he has served as Chief Sustainability, Public Affairs and Transformation.
